I know I should start off with some intro saying where I’ve been but, the last time I did that, I ended up going MIA for like a month. I know, I need to do better. Just work with me. Lol. I actually have about 6 drafts of posts I started to write but, that motivation wasn’t there anymore. So, I’m just going to jump into this post like I wasn’t gone for twenty-leven days.
This last month I’ve been depressed. Not suicidal depression but, “down, can’t get these dark clouds from over me” depression. I think it’s important to say not suicidal because people automatically associate suicide with depression and that’s not always the case.

I’ve gotten this question a couple of times in regards to me posting on my blog. I’m sorry y’all. I know I’ve said it time and time again but, for real, ya girl has been busy. 🤦🏾♀ So much has been going on in my life that I’m still working on managing everything. But, I’m still here, I promise. It’s just that carving out the time to sit down and write has proven almost impossible over the last couple of weeks…months? Has it really been that long since my last post? Ugh. I need to do better. I kind of lost count of how any piercings I have, so I guess you can say I’m addicted to them. 🙈 I have a couple tattoos but, piercings are my thing. Probably because they aren’t permanent. I can eventually take them out whenever I don’t want them anymore. Unlike tattoos, you have to go through a lot more to remove them.
The great things about piercings are that while they are a great way for self-expression, they can actually be beneficial to your health. As I’ve started to become more aware of my body and learn different ways besides medication to combat my pain, I learned that some piercings may help.
