I kind of lost count of how any piercings I have, so I guess you can say I’m addicted to them. 🙈 I have a couple tattoos but, piercings are my thing. Probably because they aren’t permanent. I can eventually take them out whenever I don’t want them anymore. Unlike tattoos, you have to go through a lot more to remove them.
The great things about piercings are that while they are a great way for self-expression, they can actually be beneficial to your health. As I’ve started to become more aware of my body and learn different ways besides medication to combat my pain, I learned that some piercings may help.

Can I just start off by saying that I love my doctor? 🙌🏾 She’s quick, to the point, but is very attentive and actually listens to what I have to say (unlike some doctors I’ve come across through this journey).🙄
I had my yearly physical today. My doctor asked me have I seen any specialists since the last time I’ve seen her. Told her yes, a neurologist. Of course, she asked what made me go see him (my insurance doesn’t require a referral, so I didn’t have to go through her to see him). After going through the whole story, I ended it with, “and that’s how I found out I have fibromyalgia.” I told her the medication he put me on gave me terrible side effects (there were a couple but, the biggest side effect that I didn’t like was that it made my brain fog like 1000 times worse normal), so I stopped.
